Information: This conference will showcase exciting and innovative strategies for teaching engaging lessons that help make learning ‘stick’ for pupils. It will also unpick the important area of stretch and challenge to help staff teach lessons which are suitably challenging for all pupils.

Objective: By the end of the day teachers will be able to identify many practical, exciting teaching strategies that they would like to use in lessons. Understand the importance of pupil mindset and teaching that promotes metacognition. Have a clear idea about how to ensure that pupils are challenged appropriately in their learning – feel inspired and motivated to try out new teaching techniques.
